Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente Guerra nació en San Diego, California el 10/10/54. Cursó estudios de administración de empresa, y se convirtió en un exitoso empresario en varias áreas, destacándose especialmente en el rubro automotriz y en el área de las finanzas, con inversiones en varias partes del mundo.
Entre 1976 y 1990 obtuvo 28 franquicias de marcas como Alfa Romeo, American Motors (AMC), Audi, Cadillac, Chrysler, Daihatsu, Dodge, Dodge Truck, GMC Trucks, Honda, Isuzu Jeep, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercury, Merkur, Oldsmobile, Peugeot, Plymouth, Pontiac, Porsche, Renault, Subaru y Volkswagen.
En el ámbito de bienes raíces, fundó la corporación National Enterprises Inc., y adquirió el edificio más alto de San Francisco, conocido como “605 Market Street”. Su portafolio inmobiliario abarca suntuosas propiedades en varias ciudades de California, Ohio y Nueva York. Además, es dueño de complejos residenciales en Ohio, California, Massachusetts, Texas, Virginia, así como de torres de oficinas en West Palm Beach, Florida, y Hartford, Connecticut.
En el ámbito de las finanzas abrió once sucursales de cambio de moneda extranjera en California y México, con miras a ayudar a mitigar la crisis económica mexicana de los años ochenta y la consecuente nacionalización de los bancos nacionales. Los dos comercios más grandes fueron llamados WERE ‘D’ Dollar Exchange y American Money Exchange. Fue fundador y Director de Balboa National Bank.
Director y accionista de Pacific Commerce Bank. Y en 1987, Presidente de la Junta Directiva y Principal Accionista de People’s Bank / First International Bank. La Ciudad de San Diego lo designó al Consejo de Desarrollo Económico de Otay Mesa en 1986. Ese mismo año, comenzó a construir el Parque Industrial De la Fuente, que ocupa un área de 312 acres en la frontera con México. En 1992, fue electo por el Partido Demócrata de California como Súper Delegado para representar a todo el estado en la Convención Nacional Demócrata realizada en Nueva York. Continuamente, suma logros a su hoja de vida gracias a su visión, capacidad de emprendimiento, tenacidad, y sentido común, cualidades que lo han posicionado como un exitoso y prominente líder hispano en dónde sea que resida.
En Octubre de este año oficializó su candidatura a la Presidencia de los Estados Unidos de América por el partido demócrata. Como padre de 5 hijos se preocupa por el futuro de las generaciones venideras.

La misión de Daniel Herbruger es inspirar e instruir a las personas a tomar el control de su dinero para alcanzar sus sueños y proyectos de vida.
El ha aprendido de finanzas personales gracias a que luego de meter la pata de muy joven escucho de Dave Ramsey, Andrés Gutierrez, y Andrés Panasiuk. A todos los ha conocido en persona en los últimos años.
Desde el 2013 facilito el seminario de finanzas personales a nivel de maestría en una de las mejores universidades de la región.
Hoy en día es el locutor del Podcast La Asignatura Pendiente donde su objetivo es que hablar sobre el dinero sea tan común como hablar del clima y así podernos quitar esas mascaras que nos hacen creer que solo nosotros no sabemos del manejo del dinero.
Como educador ha tenido la oportunidad de participar en la World Innovation Summit for Education en Doha, Qatar por dos años consecutivos y ha sido uno de los participantes más jóvenes del Socrates Program del Instituto Aspen en Colorado.
Asimismo ha participado como voluntario en 3 conferencias de Dave Ramsey, autor de La Transformación Total de su Dinero y su podcast es hoy parte de Cultura Financiera del Dr. Andrés Panasiuk.
Gracias a que ha modificado sus hábitos personales y financieros, ha podido cruzar 4,600 kilómetros del Oeste al Este de los Estados Unidos en su fiel bicicleta llamada Rocinante.

Charles P. Garcia is the CEO of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), whose mission is to empower and develop Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation in every sector of the global economy. Founded in 1972, ALPFA is the nation’s largest Latino professional organization with 43 professional chapters and 144 student chapters. He also chairs the TIGER 21 South Florida Chapter, the premier peer-to-peer group for ultrahigh-net-worth individuals, which is in 17 cities, and its 320 members control over $30 billion in personal assets.
Mr. Garcia’s career spans a broad spectrum of industries, all focused on leveraging his in-depth understanding of Hispanic consumers. In 1997, Mr. Garcia became the CEO of Sterling Financial Group, a privately held financial services firm which he grew from a small business to 60 offices in seven countries, 20,000 Hispanic clients and $2 billion in assets prior to selling it in 2005. The company was named by Inc. magazine as the # 8 fastest growing privately held company in the country and Charles was named Entrepreneur of the Year by three national organizations.
With an expertise in retail operations, marketing, finance, strategy, and international business, he served for six years (until the company was sold in 2012) on the Board of Directors of Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. (Fortune 500), one of the largest supermarkets in the southeast with nearly 500 stores and 400 in-store pharmacies. He served on the Audit Committee, as a financial expert under SEC rules, and on the Nominating and Corporate Governance committee. He also chaired an Advisory Board for Aetna Inc. (Fortune 100), reporting directly to its CEO, focused on growing the Hispanic market share of this diversified healthcare company. Mr. Garcia was also a Hispanic market strategy advisor for Amway, a $13 billion private company in the direct selling industry.
Mr. Garcia has worked for four Presidents, both Democrat and Republican, and served on high profile federal and state government boards. He was the Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the U.S. Air Force Academy, appointed by both President Bush and President Obama, to oversee all operations at the Air Force Academy. The fifteen member board is composed of four U.S. Senators, four U.S. Congressmen, and seven Presidential appointments. The Secretary of the Air Force awarded him the Distinguished Public Service Medal for leading “a historic transformation to ensure it operates more like a corporate board of directors.” Florida Governor Jeb Bush appointed him to the State Board of Education, which oversees all public education in Florida.
Mr. Garcia has a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was the first student in his class to publish on the Columbia Law Review. He has an M.P.A. from the University of Oklahoma; and a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he was awarded the Class of 1983 Honor and Ethics Trophy given to the graduate who “most personified the ideals of personal integrity.” In 1988, he was awarded a White House Fellowship by President Reagan. He served in various high level positions in the federal government, receiving the Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez Public Service and Integrity award.
The book Hispanics in the USA: Making History chose Mr. Garcia as one of fourteen Latino role models for the nation, and both Hispanic Business and Latino Leaders magazines recognized him as one of the “100 most influential Hispanics in the United States.” He has authored two best-selling leadership books: A Message from Garcia (John Wiley, 2003) and Leadership Lessons of the White House Fellows (McGraw Hill, 2009). He writes regularly for CNN, Fox News and the Huffington Post.

Rahier Rahman is the Founder and CEO of Pangea. He draws on over 15 years direct experience in the finance and start-up space. Rahier is responsible for the execution of the Pangea vision, development of the IP, and cultivating relationships across the payment ecosystem. Previously, he was one of the founders at domu.com (Chicago's fastest growing online apartment rental listing service). Lou P. Nieto Jr is president of Nieto Advisory, LLC, an advisory firm that works with small and mid cap consumer foods companies. He retired in June 2009 as president of ConAgra Foods’ $8.0 B Consumer Foods business. In this role, he was responsible for the overall management and profitability of a diverse portfolio of brands and products. He joined ConAgra as President of ConAgra Meats in 2005. He was previously President/CEO of the Federated Group, a retail and foodservice focused private label business from 2002 to 2005. He was also a Group President and a Corporate Officer of Dean Foods Company from 2000 to 2002. He joined Dean Foods in 1998 after 2 years with Mission Foods, a subsidiary of the Mexican corporation, GRUMA. Prior to Mission Foods, he spent 10 years with Kraft Foods in various brand management and strategic planning roles. Lou started his career with the Quaker Oats Company in brand management where he worked for 5 years before Kraft Foods. Lou has served on the Ryder Systems, Inc and Auto Zone boards of directors since January 2007 and September 2008, respectively. He is chair of Ryder’s Finance Committee and a member of the Audit committee at both Ryder and Auto Zone. Lou also serves on the boards of Eddy Packing, a Texas based meat products company, and Food Evolution, a prepared foods business. He served on the Board of Directors of White Wave, Inc., a Boulder, Colorado corporation, and of the Dairy Marketing Alliance, a joint venture of Dean Foods and Land O’Lakes, from 2000 to 2002. He is currently Treasurer of the Latino Corporate Directors’ Association, an advocacy organization for greater Latino corporate board representation.
Lou is a 1981 MBA graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration where he was elected President of the Latino Association and Vice President of the Marketing Club. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chicago in 1977 where he served in numerous student leadership roles and was elected to the Maroon Key Honorary Society. Lou has been involved locally and nationally in the effort to increase educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth. He served as the founding Chairman of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School’s Board of Trustees from 1994 to 1996 and as a board member until 2000. He was also a two-term president of the Chicago Chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs. He served as vice president of the board for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) National Education Service Centers from 1990 to 1993. He was a national board member of Inroads, Inc. from 1995 to 1997. Lou has also been very involved with his various alma maters, church and community. He was a six year member of the University of Chicago’s College Visiting Committee and has co-chaired multiple reunions. He served in various roles during 2 terms on the board of the Harvard Business School Club of Chicago. He was the 1998 recipient of the President’s Award from his high school alma mater, St. Ignatius College Preparatory School where he served as co-president with his wife of the Parent Organization for the 2011/2012 year. He is currently a trustee of St. Ignatius. Lou has been involved with his parish in religious education, benevolence efforts and other leadership activities. He served in a leadership role with youth soccer in his community for over 7 years including 5 years as president of a 19 team travel club. He was an elected village park district commissioner where he served as treasurer. He and his family reside in suburban Chicago.

David Chitel is an industry leader in the New Generation Latino media and entertainment space. Along with founding partner, actor John Leguizamo, in 2001 David created one of the first Latino social networking communities, iCaramba.com. Over the next 5 years, David evolved parent company, LatCom Communications, into a leading 360 degree integrated service provider helping Fortune 500’s reach New Generation Latinos through live events, magazines, online and college campus marketing. In 2006, he sold LatCom to Batanga Media, a leading online Latin music destination and online network. Concurrently, David founded and chaired the New Generation Latino Consortium (NGLC.biz), an organization dedicated to hosting business conferences and fielding innovative research studies focused on the NGL audience. He also served as creator, writer, and producer of the first Latino animated TV series, ‘Lugar Heights’, which aired on mun2 and later on MTV-Tr3s and as a full-length DVD.

During the course of her service work in the nonprofit sector, Claudia Espinosa became more aware of the inequalities that marginalized populations, such as immigrants and women, faced every day in the United States and around the world. Her dedication to serve can be demonstrated through her work at the Latina Institute, Communilife, Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, and UN Women. Her work with the Latina Institute and her vocation with Latina adolescents, helped her understand the disadvantages that her community experiences everyday and gave her the opportunity to create changes that can help Latino families live more positive lives.
In 2012, Ms. Espinosa founded the L.O.V.E. Mentoring Program, inspired by her experience working for a suicide prevention program where she counseled Latina adolescents with depression and suicidal ideations. After witnessing first-hand the overwhelming difficulties that inflict young Latinas, she was prompted to further investigate the particular challenges within the Latina community. Upon discovering the many studies that reveal staggering discrepancies between the rates of suicide, teen pregnancy, and high school dropouts for young Latinas and their peers, Ms. Espinosa recognized a clear and distinct need for the development of enhanced support systems—such as those that may be provided through building a close relationship with a positive role model.
Ms. Espinosa currently serves as the Executive Director of the L.O.V.E. Mentoring Program. In 2010, she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Forensic Psychology with Magna Cum Laude honors from CUNY. In May 2013, she received her second Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at NYU. She also completed the Professional Development Program, Managing Yourself and Leading Others, from the Harvard Division of Continuing Education in August of 2013. As a self-made professional Latina, she wants to show young Latinas that with determination, passion, and faith in ourselves, anything is possible.

Julissa is the director of development at Define American, an organizations that uses the power of story to transcend politics and shift the conversation around citizenship. She is also the co-founder and Chairman of the Ascend Educational Fund, a college scholarship and mentorship program for New York City immigrant students regardless of their immigration status. Sandra Alfaro has dedicated her 20-year career to Multicultural Marketing, primarily focusing on the Hispanic Market. She began her career at Saatchi & Saatchi’s Conill Advertising, where she worked on brands including HBO, Procter & Gamble Tide & Gain, Bell Atlantic and Helene Curtis’ Suave and Finesse brands. She later managed the Citibank Global Services and Interpersonal Banking account at JWT New York.
At The Vidal Partnership, Sandra she spent over a decade building a best-in-class Account Management department of over 30 professionals. In her role as Managing Partner, Director of Account Management at The Vidal Partnership, Sandra played an active role in winning and leading key agency accounts including McDonald’s, Heineken USA, Sprint, The Home Depot, JCPenney, Kraft Foods, Nissan, Wendy’s, The Ad Council, DIRECTV, Johnson & Johnson and Diageo. She was critical to the Agency’s unprecedented dramatic growth for over a decade, which led to the agency being recognized as Multicultural Agency of the Year for several consecutive years. In 2005, Sandra was recognized by Advertising Age in their Women to Watch profile (http://adage.com/article/special-report-women-to-watch/sandra-alfaro/103325/), the youngest featured to date at the time.
In 2010, Sandra joined kirshenbaum bond senecal + partners as the General Manager of their newly created Multicultural Unit, Ramona. In this role, Sandra works as part of an integrated offering at kbs+p to deliver a total market solution to all Clients, helping reach the increasingly diverse consumer market with culturally relevant communication. In this role, she led the expansion of their Client roster to include Kao Brands Jergens and John Frieda, Church’s Chicken, Dobel and 1800 Tequilas and BMW. Prior to joining Wing, Sandra co-led the Brand Leadership department at Lopez Negrete Communications, the largest independent Hispanic agency in the country, where she led a team of 20 staffers to service such brands as Walmart, Kraft Foods, Chrysler Dodge, MillerCoors, Sonic and Dr Pepper Snapple Group. She also actively participated in New Business efforts and led the pitches that won the agency the Southern California Edison and RBFF (Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation) accounts.
Under her leadership, the Walmart Client was recognized by AHAA as the first-ever Multicultural Marketer of the Year in 2013. Sandra also was a member of Walmart’s Multicultural Advisory Council, which has been noted as a key factor in contributing to Walmart’s best-in-class model of Total Market communications. Sandra earned here MBA in Marketing and Management from New York University’s Stern School of Business and her BSBA in International Business from The American University. She is a member of Advertising Women of New York (AWNY), New York Women in Communications, the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s (NSHMBA) and an active speaker on the subject of Leadership, Account Management and Multicultural Marketing.
Sandra is thrilled to have joined the WING team at Grey NY in May of 2014. I'll introduce Cristian with his letter to Crowdisimo: I am Cristian Arcega, I want to be an Electrical Engineer. I was born in Mexicali, Mexico and moved to Phoenix at the age of six. Despite deficiency in English I learned well and have performed at the top of my class consistently.Years later I found a place to put my talents to action. In high school I joined the Falcon Robotics Team. We Focused on STEM competitions to challenge ourselves. One year we entered an Underwater Robot Competition where we would be tasked to complete a series of tasks underwater with a robot of our creation.
This competition was unlike anything any of us had ever attempted so we entered the University Class of the competition. Even though it was our first time building an aquatic robot and with a budget a percentage of everyone else’s we had a dream. Regardless of the low expectations of our team, our robot and ourselves we went for it. In spite of our minimal budget and competing against the likes of MIT among others we won. We've leveraged that victory to inspire ourselves, our community and youth to create a system where everyone who can dream big believes themselves capable of great things. They believe in their futures, that they can be the best.
This story of success has been retold numerous times; by Wired Magazine in La Vida Robot, by Mary Mazzio in the documentary Underwater Dreams, the book by Josh Davis Spare Parts and most recently by Lionsgate and Pantelion FilmsSpare Parts.
Unfortunately life doesn't always unfold the way we want. Due to being undocumented, a year into my engineering degree my scholarship was revoked due to immigration legislation in Arizona. I was also no longer considered an in-state student and my tuition tripled. I have struggled to remain in school since. Ten years later I have not had the funds to attend college full time and complete my dream to become an Electrical Engineer.
My goal remains as always to get an Engineering Degree and start my own consumer electronics company. I hope to one day use my successes to uplift my community. I have recently started a crowd source campaign through CollegeDream.help to help raise funds to go to college. I hope that you will help me achieve my dream in the best way you can. Thank you.

Hipatia Lopez was born and raised in New Jersey. My parents are from Quito, Ecuador. She graduated from William Paterson University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and worked in public accounting for 6 years. Currently, She has 2 Part-time jobs and started her own company called H.L. Unico LLC. She opened up her business because she invented a kitchen utensil called “Empanada Fork” which is a pastry press used to make fork like impressions on dough.
Her husband Henry is Dominican and is the cook in her family, she has3 children. Hipatia had an idea during the Thanksgiving holiday season of 2010 while her family and her were preparing the holiday menu. They were making 100 empanadas and naturally she was the “closer” which she did not like because it took forever and her hand started to hurt. She stopped and thought, “I wonder if there is a utensil I can use to close them?” So she started to do some research and had the idea on her mind all the time. When she told her family what she wanted to do – they said “Go for it!” so Hipatia started to contact lawyers and realized she was on a road to something great. This journey which started off with an idea that seemed crazy at first has helped Hipatia grow as an individual. Hipatia realizes now that it is okay to take chances in life. She hopes to make her utensil known to others and tell the WORLD it exists: "Empanada Fork"

Maribel Duran is the chief of staff at the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics. In this role she works on driving the initiative's mission of increasing the Hispanic community's educational attainment and outcomes through the development of key partnerships, implementation of communication strategies, and operational and capacity-building best practices. She leads the initiative's communications, including social media outreach and engagement, early childhood education, and federal interagency working group efforts. Prior to assuming this position, she served as a special assistant to U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, managing administrative operations, prioritizing day-to-day activities, internal and external communications and issues, assessing policies and research, and serving as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
With over 15 years of experience and expertise as an operational manager, Duran has been recognized for being pragmatic and tactful, a thoughtful partner, and a dedicated public servant. She began her career in the Chicago Public Schools, first as an administrative associate in the Office of Technology Services in 2001, and then as executive assistant to Arne Duncan, the district's CEO at the time, from 2005 to 2009.
Born and raised in Chicago, Duran is a first-generation college student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in English language and literature at Southern New Hampshire University. She and her two children reside in Falls Church, Va.

In this our 50th Logra Tu Dream episode I share a talk I gave to Hispanic 7th and 8th grade kids at Stevenson Middle School in Chicago. My talk is about the 10 Lessons I have learned from the 40+ amazing Latinos, Latinas and some non-Latinos achieving their American Dream who I have interviewed on Logra Tu Dream over the last 10 months. I started Logra Tu Dream to help you achieve your American Dream but I had no roadmap on how successful Latinos/as were achieving their dreams, until now. This year my goals is to flush this roadmap more in many ways and share it with you.
I interviewed entrepreneurs, authors, leaders, marketers, executives and artists. They were all great, I learned so much from all of them and was very inspired. Fidel A. Vargas is President and CEO of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund,  the nation’s leading provider of scholarships and services designed to give Latino students full access to the opportunities a college education can provide. With more than $430 million in scholarships awarded since its founding in 1975, HSF continues to provide increasing numbers of students all the tools they need to apply to college, do well in their course work, graduate, enter a profession, excel, help lead our nation going forward, and mentor the generations to come.
Prior to joining HSF, Mr. Vargas was a founding partner of Centinela Capital Partners, a private equity asset management firm that focused on investing and managing nearly $1 billion in minority-owned funds. Prior to joining Centinela, Mr. Vargas was a Managing Director with TMG Advisors, an investment/consulting firm specializing in business development, strategic planning, and government affairs. He was also a Founding Principal and Managing
Director of Reliant Equity Investors, a private equity investment firm. At the age of twenty-three, Mr. Vargas became the country’s youngest elected Mayor of a major city: Baldwin Park, California, with a population of 75,000, twenty miles northeast of Los Angeles.
In addition to having served on HSF’s Board of Directors prior to becoming its President and CEO, Mr. Vargas has served on a number of public and private sector boards, including: the Latino Theater Company of Los Angeles; the New America Alliance; Sponsors for Education Opportunities; and Operation Hope, Inc. He served on President Clinton’s Advisory Council on Social Security; President Bush’s Commission on Strengthening Social Security; and Presidents Bush and Obama’s Commission on Presidential Scholars. He currently serves on the boards of the California Community Foundation, the Latino Donor Collaborative, and The Los Angeles Theatre Center.
Mr. Vargas has been recognized for his accomplishments by numerous organizations and media outlets, throughout his career. Time Magazine named him as one of the Top 50 Young Leaders in the United States, Hispanic Magazine named him one of the Top 30 Young Hispanics in the United States, and he was named one of the country’s 100 most influential Hispanics by Hispanic Business Magazine.
Mr. Vargas graduated with honors from Harvard University with an A.B. in Social Studies and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

After two sleepless years, Rafael “Ray” Collazo finally listened to his heart and founded Rays Podcast Network on Easter Sunday of 2013. Ray began Rays Latino Talk Podcast so e veryone can have the inspiration and tools to release their immense greatness. Collazo felt compelled to share life lessons he had experienced through his unique personal journey to help others have the courage to listen to their heart. Alex Torrenegra started his first business at age 14 in Bogotá, Colombia, with the objective of buying his first computer. After migrating to the US and finding his love of his life, Tania Zapata, he co-founded Bunny Inc., with the objective of maximizing the productive creativity of human kind, by offering great services that allow all people on earth to participate in the global economy.
He also founded Torrenegra Labs, an incubator that was named one of the top immigrant owned startups in the US by Forbes Magazine. With Torrenegra Labs, he has co-founded and invested in several successful tech companies including WeHostels, VivaReal, and Dashbell. I also co-founded HubBOG, BogoDev, and BogoTech, the three largest communities of web entrepreneurs, software developers, and technologists in Colombia. In 2012 he was honored by MIT’s Technology Review with the TR35 Top Colombian Innovator of the Year award, in 2013 with the NYC Venture Fellowship by the City of New York, and also in 2013 with the High-Impact Entrepreneur title by Endeavor. Marissa Fernandez is a native-born Cubana with over 8 years of Hispanic marketing experience across a variety of brands and companies. A self-proclaimed brand-geek, Marissa believes strongly in the “consumer is boss” mentality engrained in her early on in her career at P&G.
She currently serves as Director of Fan Strategy & Marketing for the National Football League, America’s most popular sports league. In this role, Marissa’s primary responsibility is to lead the league’s Hispanic Fan Growth Strategy she aims to accelerate NFL fan development amongst the fast-growing Latino population in the US.
Prior to coming to the NFL, Marissa served as a Client Solutions Director at the Latinum Network, consulting with over 20 brands on their multicultural strategies, including the NFL, NBA, ESPN, The Walt Disney Company, Hershey’s, and Univision. Before Latinum, Marissa spent six years in brand management at Procter & Gamble, where she learned the brand building fundamentals working on powerhouse brands like Tide and Gillette.
Marissa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS from Cornell University. Since college, she has lived in Cincinnati, OH, Boston, MA, Washington DC, and now resides in Manhattan, NY. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, watching sports, exercising, and spending time with friends and family. Kyra Caruso is a Latina/New York native with a very an interesting mix of professions: she is a DJ and a doula. Part Mexican and part Austrian, Kyra is co-owner of the music and lifestyle company Blend Media Group. Caruso has become quite the hot commodity, even djing for the likes of Katy Perry and Rihanna.
If playing music for celebrities isn’t enough, Kyra is a certified doula, and is especially passionate about meeting the needs of immigrant, single and low-income women in her community. Through her work as a doula, Kyra is now launching a program called, Beyond Words: music therapy for mothers and their babies during labor. Caruso is preparing to launch this program in the United States and Mexico.

Lizza Monet Morales is a rising actress who has already made a name for herself as a bilingual reporter and brand ambassador. This proud Latina, is a native Angeleno, who calls Los Angeles and New York home. Picking up her first copy of Variety and The Hollywood Reporter at the age of 8, Lizza immediately fell in love with the entertainment industry and the rest as they say is history. Lizza is a dedicated artist who enjoys storytelling on stage, in film and on television. She was most recently seen in David Mamet’s “Phil Spector” biopic for HBO starring Al Pacino and Helen Mirren.

Luis O. de La Hoz, 42 is the Senior Vice President of the Lending Team at the Intersect Fund, a non-profit micro-lender and certified CDFI based in New Brunswick, NJ that provides training, coaching and capital to low-income, minority and women-owned businesses throughout the state of New Jersey. Prior to his position at the Intersect Fund, De La Hoz moved to New Jersey to launch a tax preparation and financial services firm. Before migrating to the United States from his native Colombia in the early 2000s, De la Hoz was involved in the hospitality industry. In 2010, he was appointed Chair of the Central New Jersey Small Business Council of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce to address the needs of Hispanic business owners in the region.
De la Hoz is also a member of BNI International Hawks Chapter, a group of professionals working together to build business and referrals, where he won the Notable Networker Award in 2011 and 2012 in recognition of outstanding team performance, referrals, visitors and closed business, and the Notable Networker Award in 2010 . He is also a social media expert and passionate blogger, and has been is the Chair of LATISM13 Business Track and was part of the Speaker Panel at The Latino Entrepreneur Toolbox in LATISM12. Ambrocio Gonzalez es un chef muy talentoso , empresario restaurantero dueño de la Catedral Café y Las Quecas dos restaurantes muy exitosos en Chicago y también es una personalidad en el mundo culinario. Fue criado por una madre soltera en Guadalajara, Jalisco y aprendio a temprana edad que si no cocinaba no comia. Abrio su primer restaurant a la edad de 16 y desde entonces se ha distinguido por su talento empresarial y culinario. Erick has experimented with oils and acrylics, but currently works with gouache and mixed media on paper, as well as other non- conventional substrates. Gianpaolo Pietri is an architect, journalist, entrepreneur, coder, producer and writer. Translation? He is a communicator. That’s how he sees his body of work. Beyond artistry or creativity is the need to communicate the true nature of basic human emotions. Essentially, Gianpaolo uses a range of media to communicate , to share his ideas about the World and how it is evolving. There is a common thread visible throughout all of his projects. Jacqueline (Jackie) Camacho is a Latina entrepreneur, author, speaker, philanthropist, cancer survivor. Born in Mexico City, Jacqueline Camacho-Ruiz moved to the United States at age 14 where she learned English in just one year. Hungry for knowledge, Jacqueline earned her college degree and became trilingual (German). From a very early age Jackie devoured amazing literature. Fernando Labastida is a prominent Latino business blogger and the founder of Latin IT Marketing, a blog and consultancy providing marketing services for Latin American software development firms wanting to enter the U.S. market.
